Equipment/Fleet Coordinator

Position Purpose: To provide accounting support to the Equipment and Fleet Managers by assisting in the daily fundamentals of accounting, information tracking and financial reporting requirements.  This position is also responsible for the communication and coordination of broker vehicles/equipment, compliance requirements, and the related financial responsibilities. 

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Provide cost analysis and tracking reports for fleet and equipment
  • Track and receive internal and external fleet invoices for approval and coding
  • Coordinate fuel distribution throughout Fowler facilities
  • Provide invoicing, tracking, and quotations for various customers
  • Compile and maintain a database of compliance requirements for multiple agencies
  • Ensure equipment/fleet cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followed
  • Complete weekly reports for production, payments and regular tracking
  • Setup equipment in accounting system
  • Issue and post purchase orders as required
  • Print and distribute weekly report on all long and short term rental equipment, trucks, leased equipment and vehicles
  • Track Fowler leased equipment


  • Business/Accounting Diploma or related experience
  • Industry experience with trucking and equipment would be an asset
  • Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…)
  • Strong organizational/analytical skills with clear oral and written communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work cooperatively with other staff
  • Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

Work Conditions:

  • Office environment and setting
  • Weekend and evening work may be required to meet the demands of the position
