Pay Range:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with contract management, ensuring on-time reporting per contract specifications.

  • Maintain good public relations by keeping the ministry, public, and other affected parties informed, and deal with issues and complaints in a timely manner.

  • Assist with patrols as required.

  • Communicate with the Ministry as they relate to inquiries, issues, and/or reporting deficiencies.

  • Ensure compliance with Ministry reporting.

  • Maintain accurate WOR records.

  • Job costing, including time and materials tracking, change orders and 3rd party invoicing.

  • Track deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Attend pre-start meetings for subcontractors.

  • Capital improvements, work order preparation and tracking.

  • Equipment tracking.

  • Bridge and culvert inspections, including deficiency and repair reporting.

  • Carry out scheduled inspections including: fencing (reptile and ungulate), pond and stormceptors.

  • Administer Health & Safety protocols and reporting as they relate to the incidents, accidents or spills.

  • Facilitate and maintain locates as required.

  • Prepare sample testing of materials for the lab.

  • Schedule traffic control requirements based on the repair schedule.

  • All other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • Business, Civil Engineering or related postsecondary education and/or knowledge gained through experience.

  • Accounting experience an asset.

  • Bridge Inspection training asset, Book 7.

  • Strong computer skills - MS Office, Excel, etc. 

  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management. 

  • Valid G driver’s license required.

Work Conditions

  • Travel to various job sites and locations will be required (company vehicle provided).

  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including adverse weather conditions.

  • Weekend and evening work may be required based on project demands.
