SEPTEMBER 2025
FOWLER THANKS THE BUILDERS AND DESIGNERS OF OUR NEW FACILITY
This month, as we settle into our new space, we share a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the creation of FOWLER’s new office and shop. Your teamwork, dedication, and attention to detail have transformed the space into something truly special that we can all be proud of.
We want to recognize those who built our new facility, including Allen Schiedel, Dave Sparks, Marty Geerlinks and their team at Schiedel Construction, who took this dream and made it a reality.
And we want to recognize Katherine and the team at Nimble Project Management & Design who filled the space with symbolic design choices and personalized touches that make it perfect for FOWLER.
From the schematics on the walls and windows to the various accent colours and materials, every detail was designed with our team in mind. We couldn’t have done it without Katherine’s brilliant eye and the support of her team.
FOWLER SAFETY TEAM UPDATE
FOWLER'S Health & Safety Team have officially completed their Qualitative Respiratory Fit Test certification.
What does this mean for our team and workplace? Certified expertise. Our Health and Safety crew is now fully qualified to perform in-house fit testing.
Improved Safety – Ensuring proper protection for employees who wear tight-fitting respirators.
On-Site Support – Guidance and testing available directly from our trusted team.
Commitment to Wellness – Another step in strengthening our promise to keep everyone safe and supported.
OBSERVING TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION DAY
FOWLER Construction is proud to share that the Survivors’ Flag is now flying on our property in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Seeing the flag on site is a meaningful reminder of FOWLER’s commitment to honouring this important day.
The Survivors’ Flag was revealed on September 23, 2021, to honour residential school Survivors and the children who never returned home. Each element of the flag was chosen by Survivors from across Canada and carries deep meaning about family, children, and remembrance.
Thank you to Neil S. for putting together a document to learn more about this important flag.
FOWLER GOLF CLASSIC
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the FOWLER Employee Golf Classic this weekend, and to those who helped make it happen!
It turns out the real win wasn’t on the scorecard, it was the laughs, the stories, and the time spent together with our FOWLER family on the fairways at Kirrie Glen, Pinewood Park and Muskoka Highlands.
And finally, a standing ovation to our suppliers and friends of Fowler who donated to our prize tables!
FOWLER THANK YOU
We’re proud to share the thanks FOWLER received from Shane Ingram this month for saving a Blanding's turtle and to recognize the quick actions of Chuck P. and the FOWLER team during road maintenance on Doe Lake Road.
On September 23, 2025, Chuck discovered a rare baby Blanding’s turtle, a rare and endangered species, and immediately took steps to protect it. With support from S.T.A.R.T., Saving Turtles at Risk Today, the turtle was safely relocated for care and future release. This response is a great example of FOWLER’s ongoing commitment to protecting the environment and the communities where we work.
CELEBRATING 25 YEARS
Congratulations to Greg N. on reaching 25 years of service with FOWLER, an incredible milestone!
Your dedication, hard work and commitment have made a lasting impact on the team. Here’s to many more years of success, Greg; we’re lucky to have you!
Thank you to Wendy H. for making this special presentation on behalf of the team.
