MAY 2025
SAFETY AND HEALTH WEEK
Each May, we recognize Safety and Health Week, an initiative started by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) to emphasize the importance of workplace safety and well-being.
At FOWLER, safety isn't just a priority; it's a core value. Our incredible FOWLER Safety Team works year-round to ensure we're all informed, protected, and focused on preventing injuries and illness in the workplace. Join us this month in recognizing the efforts and commitment of the following team members: Paul Perrier, Health and Safety Risk Manager; Alexandra Brown, Health and Safety Field Coordinator; Rob Aitken, Safety Trainer; Tina Van Ekelenburg, Health and Safety Systems Coordinator; and Neil Swanson, Lead Health and Safety Coordinator.
Let’s keep safety top of mind—not just this week, but every day!
PAVING OUR WAY
Exciting changes are underway at our main office and new shop in Bracebridge! We gave the main office parking lot a fresh new look and have moved on to the shop parking lot.
A big shoutout to our incredible FOWLER paving crew for leading the charge on this project. This marks the first job for our brand-new paver, and there’s something extra special about putting it to work right here at home. It's all smiles at FOWLER—thank you for being part of the progress!
YEARS OF SERVICE
A huge congratulations go to Pierre M., who celebrated 40 years at FOWLER earlier this year! Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work over the past four decades. Way to go, Pierre! as well.
Thank you to Gilles T., who helped us mark this special milestone by presenting the Years of Service plaque and gift.
YEARS OF SERVICE
We proudly recognized Vince W. for 35 incredible years with Fowler. From the ground down, there’s no job he hasn’t tackled – and no challenge he hasn’t met with grit, experience, and heart.
Vince, your leadership, loyalty, and passion have shaped our Construction Division and inspired us all. You’re more than a teammate – you're a cornerstone.
Special thanks to Jacqui and James for helping us celebrate this amazing milestone.
FOWLER IN THE COMMUNITY
Hard hats off to Mike F. and Clay B., who helped make the Touch a Truck event at Pine Glen Public School in Huntsville a success!
We were able to drive our hydraulic excavator and fuel truck to Huntsville to give the community an up-close look at the work we do. Mike and Clay’s knowledge, energy and enthusiasm made the day unforgettable for so many kids (and adults too!).
