JUNE 2025

FOWLER HAS HEART

June 19th, we began our 3rd Annual FOWLER Ride/Walk for Heart with a Lunch & Learn hosted by the Heart & Stroke Cardiac Crash Team. Our team walked away feeling more confident and prepared to use an AED and administer first aid in emergencies. It was a powerful reminder that quick action can truly save lives.

Then, we set out on our Ride/Walk for Heart! Despite the weather, spirits were high, and the turnout was fantastic! Thank you to our team for participating and making this event a success.

Our 3rd annual FOWLER Ride/Walk for Heart was an unbelievable success. Together, we raised over $17,000! Thanks to the incredible generosity and dedication of our employees, who raised $8,050, and FOWLER’s matching support, we raised $17,010 for this lifesaving cause. This brings our three-year fundraising total to an astounding $36,370 in support of heart health.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and cheered our team members on! Your support is helping to save lives!

FOWLER IN THE COMMUNITY

In June, we had the opportunity to support the Bracebridge Bike Rodeo by supplying FOWLER pylons that helped create this epic obstacle course! The event was a great success, and we were thrilled to play a part in teaching the next generation all about the importance of safe driving.

FOWLER TEAMWORK IN ACTION

A big shoutout to our incredible team for their swift and coordinated response to attending to this accident on Hwy 400:

  • Incident Response Unit – the first on scene, taking the initial call and setting things in motion.

  • Barrie Patrol Yard Team – stepping up to assist emergency services with lane closures in both directions.

  • Specialized Crew – taking over once emergency crews cleared the scene, ensuring a safe and thorough cleanup.

Thanks to their quick work and seamless collaboration, repairs were completed and all lanes reopened well before the afternoon rush.

‘LUNCH ON FOWLER’ WINNERS FOR JUNE

Big congratulations to Jamie for earning the first Health and Safety Gift Card. Jamie went above and beyond while flagging and helping pedestrians navigate the site (and knowing most of them by name!).

Thank you, Nicole, for your excellent work on West Road! Nicole helped a member of the public in distress, helped authorities navigate the active jobsite, kept civilian traffic moving and ensured her team was adapting and aware. Great job!

Congratulations to Nathan for consistently offering visitors to all of his sites the STARR promptly and calling the Safety Team to assist with site planning and questions.

Enjoy your Lunch on Fowler!
