CANADA DAY
As we head into Canada Day, we'd like to wish all our employees and their families a safe and happy holiday!
We hope you have the opportunity to celebrate the communities, landscapes and people that make Canada such a great place to call home.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the crews who will be working tomorrow. Your dedication to keeping our roads safe and serving our communities is truly appreciated.
Just a reminder that the office will be CLOSED on Canada Day. We will return to regularly scheduled hours on Thursday, July 2nd.
FOWLER Ride for Heart
We have some BIG hearts here at FOWLER! The 2026 team surpassed last year’s Ride for Heart fundraising total, raising an incredible $20,000 for Heart & Stroke!
Every dollar goes towards Ride for Heart’s critical mission priorities, which include:
Closing the gaps in health inequality by supporting researchers who are conducting heart and brain research in the areas of women, Indigenous people and Black communities.
Preventing the surge in heart failure with plans that involve tackling the issue on all fronts: advancing the research, prevention of heart damage, creating new treatments and diagnosis.
We’re overjoyed to set this new benchmark and couldn’t be prouder of our team’s dedication and spirit.
FOWLER Meet the Team
Deeann Allinson, Ctech, RCSI, became FOWLER’s Construction Survey Manager in April 2024. Her focus is on leading the survey team, performing the CAD work and developing our expertise in survey drone flights. Deeann’s connection to FOWLER extends beyond her professional role, as her family’s trailer park in Huntsville was a popular retreat for employees in the late 1990s and even provided staff housing during the Muskoka Road 3 project.
She graduated from the Seneca College Civil Engineering Program and later from the University of Waterloo Project Management Program. Prior to joining FOWLER, she spent 12 years as a Survey Party Chief for The District Municipality of Muskoka.
Deeann is one of two people at FOWLER to hold a BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) Pilot License from Transport Canada, a distinction shared by just 350 people in Canada. She also established FOWLER’s Drone Division, allowing the company to achieve the RPOC (Registered Pilot Operator Certificate) designation from Transport Canada, a status held by only about 370 companies across Canada.
FOWLER Student Tours
A BIG thank you to Mark G. for taking the time to give a tour to Huntsville High School student Paige and for sharing valuable insights into FOWLER’s 310T Mechanic Apprenticeship Program.
Partnerships like these help connect students with rewarding career pathways and real-world learning experiences. We're excited to showcase the opportunities for professional growth in the skilled trades and to explore new ways to continue expanding and strengthening our program.
FOWLER Years of Service
Milestones deserve to be celebrated, especially when it’s 40 YEARS of service!
Earlier this week, we were proud to celebrate Dennis R. and an incredible four decades of commitment, hard work and loyalty. Anyone who knows Dennis knows why he is so respected and appreciated. His kind nature, positive attitude and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact on our team.

Congratulations to the Earl's Road Crew, winners of the Lunch on Fowler Safety Award for May!
This recognition reflects the crew’s ongoing commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining a strong safety culture on the job site. Their dedication to looking out for one another and ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of the day is what makes them deserving recipients of May's award.
