1/4" washed granite chip is a small, angular stone that has been cleaned to remove all fines. Because it contains no dust or sand, it does not compact and allows water to pass through freely.
Common Uses:
- Pipe bedding – Provides uniform support around small-diameter pipes while allowing water to drain away.
- Drainage applications – Used behind retaining walls and around foundations.
- Under slabs – Acts as a leveling layer where drainage is required.
- Weeping tile surround – Prevents clogging and maintains flow.
- Landscaping – Clean decorative ground cover.
- Asphalt – Various mixes to assist with volumetric properties.
NOTE: Pickup trucks will only be loaded if paired with a trailer that is at least 12 feet in length and equipped with a minimum of two axles. The combined truck and trailer must be legally rated to carry the intended load. Fowler Construction staff reserve the right to refuse loading any truck and/or trailer deemed unsafe or not roadworthy.
