2" clear granite is crushed granite stone where each piece is about 2 inches in size, and like other "clear" stones, it has been washed to remove fine dust and smaller particles. The larger size and clean nature make it excellent for heavy-duty drainage and stabilization work.
Four common uses for 2" clear granite:
Heavy-duty drainage systems – Ideal for large-scale French drains, culverts, and septic fields.
Erosion control – Placed on slopes, ditches, or shorelines to prevent soil erosion.
Railroad ballast – Provides a stable base for railroad tracks.
Base for large structures – Used under roadways, heavy-duty retaining walls, or large foundations for extra strength and drainage.
NOTE: Pickup trucks will only be loaded if paired with a trailer that is at least 12 feet in length and equipped with a minimum of two axles. The combined truck and trailer must be legally rated to carry the intended load. Fowler Construction staff reserve the right to refuse loading any truck and/or trailer deemed unsafe or not roadworthy.
